did you ever see that ad that showed the dad fixing breakfast for his son and the caption was "when did you become the guy on the left?"
i've had that feeling a lot over the last year..........
even though zoe is my second child, i'm really just now feeling like i'm finally a "grown-up"
maybe it's also that i will turn 40 this year........
i don't know any of the "hip" new bands... don't really care... don't like any of them when i try to listen to them.......
tried subscribing to paste magazine.... new cd with new independent and alternative music....
the last one, the only song i really liked was by willie nelson!
are they doing him like they did johnny cash now? it was really good......
i don't care about fashion......
about what is "cool"
just mainly about my family..
maybe this is what God intended?
i am still hip on all the cool movies....
but usually don't watch until they come on dvd.............lol

Hi Joey, I think I know what you mean, though I have to keep up with Miley Cyrus and Finger Eleven as a Junior High teacher.
I don't have cable, but my 9 yr old son had me a hannah montana dvd...
I don't get that at all....
What are the kids saying about the vanity fair pics?
Or do they not even know or care?

I took today off... I am watching baby einstein: baby noah with the baby and the babysitters 2 yr old boy... as he is having her second child today!

Sadly they don't comment on the "hard" issues, they probably don't think the poor old guy can handle it. Perhaps I should just ask them.
i would only bring it up when one of them mentioned her next....
